The Big Questions

The BIG Questions course might be back in 2019 so if you are interested in examining crucial questions in a non-judgemental and friendly setting then please let us know by telling our Rector, Mandy Maxwell (, or Dugald Wilson ( ).

The course is a series of discussions about "The Big Questions". Many of these are often asked questions about the Christian faith. Some of them are raised by non-Christians as objections and reasons for why they should not believe. We explore these issues together in order to help us grow in our own faith and to give us an answer for the critics.

We will explore questions like; Is there evidence for God's existence? Why is there suffering and evil in the world? What is prayer about? Is it wrong to be tempted? What about the resurrection?

There will be six weekly sessions that take place in the North Room. It would be helpful if we had an idea of the number of people interested for preparing the course material. Further, if there is a preference for holding the sessions during the day, we might be able to hold the series some other time on a Monday only.
